Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Handle custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facility upkeep.
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support industrial cleaning or specialized custodial projects as needed for large-scale or high-traffic areas.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently and safely.
• Experience with facilities maintenance or basic repair work is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
