The Challenge
As a junior BDM, your role is to follow up with all potential clients who sign up on the Temper platform. Your main goal is to convert these sign-ups into recurring customers by actively onboarding them and then handing over the accounts to the client success team.
In addition to converting new inbound leads, you’ll play a key role in ensuring these clients adopt and successfully use our platform by managing them for a longer period. If you’re interested in sales and want hands-on experience managing a full sales cycle, this is a great opportunity to learn and grow!
Responsibilities
Understanding client needs and leveraging an in-depth knowledge of our platform to provide tailored solutions.
Taking full ownership of the sales cycle, including managing clients for one month after their first use of the platform to ensure a smooth transition.
Collaborating closely with the marketing team to improve the quality of inbound leads and identify ways to boost client adoption.

The BD team consists of seven dynamic and dedicated colleagues. There are four business development managers, one reactivation manager, and two inbound sales representatives.

What Makes You a Great Fit
You’re at the start of your sales career, with a strong interest in learning sales techniques and a winning mentality.
Experience in one or more of our key industries: hospitality, retail, logistics, or facilities.
Familiarity with short deal cycles and the ability to close quickly.
Knowledge of managing a sales pipeline, balancing client onboarding, and proactive outreach.
Comfortable using data from various systems to shape and optimize your sales strategies.
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Great To Have
Experience as BDR/ SDR
Knowledge about different sales methodologies (f.e. MEDDICC, SPICED, or Challenger Sales)
Knowledge of Salesforce as a CRM tool or experience with SalesLoft
