Financial Markets Risk Management is a dynamic team of treasury professionals working in a fast-paced environment. We are responsible for Valmet Corporations´ financial market risk management, including liquidity management, foreign exchange, interest rate, commodity risk management, capital structures and subsidiary funding.

We are now looking for a new member, Junior Dealer to join our Treasury team. The position is based in Valmet Head office, in Espoo, Finland.

Together with team, your main responsibilities include:

Participating in financial risk management:

• Focus on dealing execution of internal and external FX derivatives deals

• Consultation of project and business FX risk identification and hedging

• Following global financial market activity from Valmet perspective

• Ad-hoc financial risk related studies

Liquidity management:

• Daily liquidity management on Group level and handling of cash forecasting

• Short-term funding and investments

• Assisting team with subsidiary funding

Financial Market Risk management process development and other tasks:

• Participating in various Treasury development projects

• Execution of Valmet’s internal payment cycles on monthly basis (Netting and Emerging market payment execution)

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Master’s degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent.

• A strong interest in financial markets and macro development and/or experience from a Corporate Treasury or markets position in a bank or similar.

• Experience or knowledge of financial instruments including FX derivatives

• Strong analytical sense and mathematical skills

• Advanced Excel skills

• Good communication skills and fluency in English, all other languages seen as a merit

• Self-motivated team-player with positive attitude

• Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships

• Be able to proactively structure the daily work and to strive to increase efficiency

• Be open and willing to work in a broader context than the pre-defined scope
