As a Junior IT Administrator at DOCOsoft, you act as the first line of support for all day‑to‑day IT operations, user issues, and system administration tasks across the business. You will support Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint management, collaboration tools, and general IT hardware while ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all staff.
Your responsibilities include triaging Level 1 tickets, maintaining device and user lifecycle processes, supporting identity and access tasks, and assisting with routine operational duties across the cloud and on‑prem environment. You will follow established DOCOsoft SOPs, uphold documentation standards, and escalate cases in line with company processes.
This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is eager to learn, enjoys problem solving, and is comfortable supporting users in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities:
User Support & Service Desk Operations
- Act as the first contact for Level 1 support issues (endpoints, M365 apps, connectivity, collaboration tools).
- Triage and resolve common problems (Windows, Office 365, MFA, VPN, printers, peripherals).
- Document tickets clearly and help update knowledge base and guides.
- Escalate complex cases to senior staff as needed.
- Joiner, Mover, Leaver Processes
- Set up hardware and accounts for new employees.
- Update permissions and equipment for role changes.
- Ensure secure offboarding of devices and accounts.
Systems Administration & Cloud Support
- Help administer Microsoft 365 (mailboxes, licenses, Teams, SharePoint, groups).
- Provide basic Azure support (portal checks, VM access, tagging, compliance).
- Keep hardware asset records up to date and support device lifecycle.
Endpoint, Network & Infrastructure Support
- Build and maintain endpoints with Intune, Autopilot, and compliance policies.
- Monitor alerts, patching, and endpoint protection.
- Troubleshoot Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, and network issues.
- Support printers, file shares, remote access, and application setup.
Operational & Administrative Duties
- Assist with equipment moves, office setups, cabling, and meeting room tech.
- Manage IT equipment and accessory stock levels.
- Help with vendor coordination and procurement.
- Log and document all actions accurately.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 1–2 years in IT support or service desk.
- Strong troubleshooting for Windows, M365, and office hardware.
- Excellent communication and customer focus.
- Ability to follow processes and keep accurate records.
- Organized, reliable, and proactive problem solver.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft 365 admin portals.
- Basic Azure knowledge.
- Understanding of networking basics (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi).
- Familiarity with IT security (MFA, access control, endpoint protection).
- Use of ticketing or ITSM systems.
- Interest in automation/scripting (PowerShell).
- Customer service experience (retail or similar).
- Interest in new technologies and learning.
