Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dublin and contribute to the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
• Measure and value works on site in line with drawings, specifications and contract terms.
• Prepare interim valuations, applications for payment and subcontractor accounts.
• Assist with procurement, including obtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Support the preparation of monthly cost/value reconciliation reports.
• Assist in the management of variations, remeasures and final accounts.
• Liaise with site management, design teams, clients and subcontractors as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company procedures.

Requirements

• A relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline (degree or higher certificate).
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with measurement/estimating software an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A full driving licence, as travel to sites across the region may be required.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
