We are seeking a reliable and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our busy, fast-paced kitchen team. The successful candidate will support chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, cleanliness and food safety. Previous experience in a similar role and HACCP training are essential. Full on the job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting chefs with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Ensuring all food handling and storage procedures meet HACCP standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment
- Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with deliveries
- Disposing of waste correctly and maintaining cleanliness of all work areas
- Supporting the team during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment (essential)
- Previous HACCP training and knowledge of food safety regulations (essential)
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €16.00-€18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
