Part Time

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our busy, fast-paced kitchen team. The successful candidate will support chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, cleanliness and food safety. Previous experience in a similar role and HACCP training are essential. Full on the job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting chefs with food preparation and basic cooking tasks

Ensuring all food handling and storage procedures meet HACCP standards

Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment

Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment

Monitoring stock levels and assisting with deliveries

Disposing of waste correctly and maintaining cleanliness of all work areas

Supporting the team during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment (essential)

Previous HACCP training and knowledge of food safety regulations (essential)

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety

Good communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
