About The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, your main duties will include:

• Carrying out daily cleaning tasks to keep the kitchen safe and organised
• Washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, taking care to avoid breakages
• Making sure food preparation areas are clean, tidy and ready for use
• Supporting the team by ensuring HACCP and cleaning standards are followed at all times
• Completing daily HACCP and cleaning records (with clear guidance provided)
• Keeping work surfaces, sinks, wash-hand basins, floors and walls clean and sanitised
• Keeping the storeroom organised and tidy
• Removing and disposing of waste and recycling correctly and regularly
• Ensuring bins and disposal areas do not overflow
• Keeping the yards at the Lodge and the Castle clean and tidy
• Cleaning staff rooms twice daily and keeping them organised
• Making sure staff room condiments are stocked
• Helping with other general kitchen support tasks as required

Salary

Starting from €14.25 per hour
