BridgeWater at Mankato is a 24-unit assisted living community dedicated to providing high-quality care in a warm, supportive environment.
We are currently seeking a Kitchen Coordinator for a supervisory position responsible for overseeing all dietary and kitchen operations within our community. This role includes menu planning, food ordering, preparing prep sheets, cooking, and ensuring kitchen safety and cleanliness.
You will work in close collaboration with an existing Kitchen Coordinator to maintain consistency, quality, and coverage across all kitchen-related tasks. In addition to hands-on responsibilities, you will supervise and support other staff in carrying out their dietary duties.
Other responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with onboarding and training of new dietary staff
- Monitoring inventory and keeping supply levels up to date
- Contributing new menu ideas and recipes
- Supporting a positive dining experience for residents
What we’re looking for:
- A passion for working with the elderly population is essential
- Previous experience in senior care is preferred, but not required
