Duties

• Assist with food preparation and meal assembly under the supervision of kitchen staff
• Support in food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Help with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning
• Assist in serving food to customers or in delivering meals within the restaurant as needed
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Support the kitchen team during busy hours by performing various tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of cooking, meal preparation, and food handling techniques
• Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food service
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
