Full-Time | Nights & Weekends Required

We are a high-volume, fast-paced pizza restaurant focused on quality food, strong culture, operational excellence, and guest experience. We are looking for a hands-on Kitchen Manager who thrives in a team environment, leads by example, and takes pride in running an organized and efficient kitchen.
Position Summary
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all back-of-house operations including food quality, team leadership, food safety, prep execution, inventory control, labor management, and kitchen cleanliness. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who can maintain standards while developing a strong culinary team.
Responsibilities Kitchen Operations
- Manage daily BOH operations during service
- Ensure all food is prepared to recipe and presentation standards
- Maintain ticket times and kitchen flow during peak hours
- Oversee prep production and pars
- Monitor food quality and consistency
Team Leadership
- Train and coach line cooks and prep staff
- Conduct pre-shift meetings
- Create a positive and accountable kitchen culture
- Assist with scheduling and labor management
- Hold team members accountable to standards
Food Safety & Cleanliness
- Enforce health department and sanitation standards
- Ensure proper labeling, dating, and food rotation (FIFO)
- Monitor temperature logs and cooling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Oversee nightly cleaning checklists
Inventory & Cost Control
- Assist with inventory counts and ordering
- Minimize waste and control food cost
- Monitor product usage and portion control
- Communicate equipment or maintenance needs
Qualifications
- 2+ years of kitchen management experience preferred
- High-volume restaurant experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
