Job Overview
We are seeking a enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality food and service to our guests. You will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to meal preparation, food safety, and overall kitchen operations. Compensation will be determined by the candidate's professional kitchen experience.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of meals by following recipes and portion guidelines.
- Perform food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are met in accordance with health regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Support cooking staff during service by preparing ingredients and plating dishes as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and assisting with restocking as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is necessary.
- Knowledge of Latin American cuisine preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Spanish speaking will be considered and asset.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 34 per week
