We are now hiring a Kitchen Trainee: an entry-level role designed for someone who wants more than just a job. This is the first step in our structured

internal progression plan that develops team members into fully trained chefs.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Trainee, you will begin by learning the foundations of how a professional kitchen operates. You will support the kitchen team while developing the skills required to progress into a chef position.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen

● Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

● Supporting chefs during service

● Assisting with basic food preparation

● Managing waste and ensuring hygiene standards are met

● Following all HACCP and health & safety procedures

This is a fast-paced environment where teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.

Clear Progression to Chef

This role is part of our internal chef development programme.

Team members who demonstrate commitment, reliability, and strong performance will be trained across all sections of the kitchen, including:

● Cold Section

● Breakfast Service

● Hot Larder

● Butchery

● Pastry

● Kitchen Management

Pay: €14.15 per year
