LABOURER

Job Summary

Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP), a subsidiary of Z’gamok Enterprises Inc., an Indigenous business fully owned by Sagamok Anishnawbek, provides a diverse range of services across multiple business segments, including construction, haulage, underground mining services, and commercial janitorial.

Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP) is recruiting a hard-working, self-motivated individual with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of Labourer.

The Labourer will be responsible for supporting site services contracts and ensure the construction, and mine sites have labour needs met.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform site clean-up and snow removal in the winter months (October – April)
• Load or unload construction materials
• Follow instructions from supervisors
• Assist equipment operators, and other skilled labourers when necessary
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary

Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Possess a valid class G driver's licence, with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work (e.g. hand and power tools etc.)
• Ability to handle the weight mass up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must be punctual and reliable
