Overview of role:
This role will focus on the timely response to planning applications for development and subdivision within statutory response times and provision of the relevant infrastructure to facilitate it to Coliban Water standards in accordance with our Developer Installed Works process. This role will also deliver technical advice and guidance to developers and the consultants and surveyors working on their behalf.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Land Development Coordinator, you’ll be accountable for:
Respond to enquiries by customers and the Development community and provide advice regarding specific Development issues
- Build and maintain relationships with the Development community and other stakeholders
- Review Planning applications against relevant legislation, technical standards and Coliban Water policies and provide advice to the relevant council on Coliban Water's specific conditions or requirements.
About you:
Considerable knowledge and skills gained through trade qualifications in plumbing with 7+ years’ experience or similar experience working in the water and wastewater industry where interpretation of legislation, policy and procedures for the provision of infrastructure is required.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of water, wastewater and recycled water infrastructure
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and standards and make decision based on defined guidelines and principles
- Computer literacy with well-developed skills in word processing, databases and geographic Information Systems
- An ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and well-developed project management experience with evidence of requests, reports and projects delivered on time
- High Level of written and verbal communication skills

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 3 $74,200-$90,097 + superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience. This role is a Fulltime Ongoing position.
