Laundry Aide Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic person who has excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. The goal is to ensure residents have clean, comfortable conditions while adhering to state guidelines.

Laundry Aide Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Laundry Aide preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Must have knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work independently and remain motivated
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
• Quality team player

Laundry Aide Responsibilities:

• Ensures all resident and facility items are thoroughly laundered using laundry products as directed by the supervisor, adhering to state and federal guidelines for clean/safety standards

• Follow established safety work area procedure
• Changing gloves and washing hands between rooms
• Assuring all infection control procedures are followed

• Washing, drying, folding linen and clothing items in a neat manner. Resident clothing is hung and sorted on racks by room and floors for easy delivery.

• Sorts and delivers resident items daily/weekly. Ensures all items are clearly marked with resident names. Assists to identify any unmarked/unclaimed items.
• Report danger/safety concerns to supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
