Lead generation & Strategic development Manager at ZeroNorth


In this Copenhagen based role you will report directly to the SVP of Growth and be responsible for the strategic planning, operational execution, and leadership of a team of 2 Business Development Representatives.

This is a critical, high-impact role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on commercial execution. You will leverage your strategic background to own the top-of-funnel process, ensuring we not only generate leads but generate the right leads.

This function is viewed as the core pipeline for our future commercial leaders, offering rapid growth at the intersection of tech and sustainability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach the BDR team (currently 2 reports), optimizing daily outreach activities and fostering a high-performance, process-oriented culture.
  • Develop and implement targeted go-to-market strategies focused on key enterprise accounts to drive significant new business acquisition and revenue expansion.
  • Drive new business opportunities by personally executing targeted outreach campaigns (email, phone, social) to identify and engage ideal prospect profiles.
  • Ensure accurate and evidence-based pipeline management across the BDR team, establishing accurate forecasts, and collaborating with Finance on comprehensive reporting.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis, providing critical insights to Sales leadership to proactively address opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Account Executives to optimize lead generation, qualification flow, and customer lifetime value.

Your profile:

We are looking for a commercially-minded and experienced leader who combines practical sales experience with strong analytical rigor, often found in management consulting environments.

  • Minimum 3+ years of proven success in enterprise sales, commercial roles, or strategic management consulting, including a minimum of 1 year of proven professional experience in a sales, commercial, or management consulting role.
  • You possess the analytical thinking required to translate strategic insights directly into commercial action and qualification processes.
  • Consistent track record of achieving commercial targets and successfully navigating complex deal qualification within the SaaS, digital, or technology sectors.
  • Essential for effective communication and alignment in a diverse, global business environment.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented, comfortable managing data integrity and pipeline management within a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
  • You hold a relevant university degree (e.g., Business, Marketing, or Economics).
