What You’ll Do:

This role combines hands-on carpentry, job-site organization, and team leadership.

Responsibilities include:

Project Production & Craftsmanship

• Execute framing, finishing, demolition, and construction related tasks safely, efficiently, and at a high standard
• Follow daily budgets and task breakdowns with precision
• Complete daily deficiencies as part of the production schedule
• Prepare tools, materials, and workspace in advance to stay efficient and on budget
• Uphold quality workmanship that contributes to our 9/10+ customer satisfaction score target

Job Site Leadership

• Support or lead daily meetings
• Delegate tasks to crew members based on skill and daily budget
• Maintain clean, safe, organized job sites
• Communicate respectfully with clients and subcontractors
• Reinforce safety standards and proper tool usage at all times

Communication & Administration

• Track hours and specific cost codes
• Submit mileage and expenses accurately and on time
• Relay all customer questions, issues, or concerns to the Project Manager
• Provide accurate daily updates for smooth production flow

Key Competencies

• Site preparation and housekeeping
• General Framing and carpentry
• Interior finishing. Baseboard, casing, crown moulding
• Window and door installation
• Building envelope detailing
• Basic concrete forming
• General labour

What You Bring:

Whether Lead Hand or Apprentice, you must bring:

Non-Negotiables

• A strong work ethic and ability to move with intensity
• Genuine pride in craftsmanship
• Respect for clients, teammates, subcontractors, and the home
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Steel-toed boots and personal hand tools

Nice to Have

• 2-5+ years residential carpentry experience
• Experience leading small teams (even informally)
• Ability to read plans, take measurements, and understand construction sequencing
• Familiarity with renovation environments (tight spaces, occupied homes, custom-detail work)
