About the role

As the Lead Systems Engineer you will be a technical lead and escalation point for CodeBlue’s centralised management of customer endpoints from a systems engineering standpoint, including ensuring the platforms we use to deliver those services (e.g. Kaseya VSA and Auvik) are serving the strategic imperatives of CodeBlue’s managed service offerings. Your role will also be responsible for the implementation and ongoing improvement of policy and standards within the centralised systems engineering realm, much of which will include teaching and coaching the Level 1 NOC team and aiding in ensuring the NOC team’s core deliverables are met.

A key success measure of the role will be directly linked to your ability to proceduralise regular tasks, produce documentation to the highest standard, and automate them where possible. You will also be tasked with collaboratively and actively seeking out aspects of systems engineering that can be effectively centralised.

Skills & experience

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer who has previously worked in an MSP environment. Ideally you will have experience as a technical lead and an eye for innovation and improvements. Technical requirements include:
