Description:
Who we are looking for….
Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, proactive leader with the ability to manage a team in a fast-moving environment and drive the successful performance of a section of the production.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following components:

Ensuring orders are packed and picked according to all appropriate procedures.
Machine Operation: Properly use all machinery and equipment, with the ability to learn and operate required warehouse machinery.
Understand the specifications relating to labeling produce. The accurate and complete preparation and receipt of Value-Added Batch (VAB).
Organising production activities ensuring objectives and targets are achieved within required time frames.
Collaborating with the quality department to ensure assurance and systems compliance.
Optimising current processes and instigation of continuous improvement activity.
Providing leadership and daily direction for staff of your section.
Driving the WHS program, ensuring the team follow all appropriate safety systems and processes.

Skills and Experiences:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities:

Ability to work early morning shifts with a 6am start time.
Previous pick/packing experience is highly regarded.
Hold a forklift licence (highly regarded) or applicant is driven to obtain licence whilst employed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Motivated to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Ability to coordinate activities efficiently and effectively.
Knowledge of WHS regulations and requirements.
Experience in the fresh produce industry (highly regarded)
Experience leading a small team in a production, warehouse, or packing environment.
