We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team. The Apprentice Electrician will assist licensed electricians with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in both residential and commercial settings. This role is ideal for a Level 3 or Level 4 apprentice looking to continue building a strong foundation in the electrical trade while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions while contributing positively to team projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to understand project requirements
• Support the installation of low-voltage systems as directed by supervisors
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and performing basic repairs under supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized job site, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress
• Perform basic electrical testing using meters and diagnostic tools under supervision

Experience & Skills

• Level 3 and/or Level 4 electrical apprentice (preferred)
• Prior experience working as an electrical apprentice or in a related electrical capacity is an asset
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance practices
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints
• Familiarity with low-voltage systems is considered an advantage
• Strong understanding of job site safety practices
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated to continue advancing in the electrical trade
