We are seeking a Librarian to join our professional and supportive Research Services team at Curtin University Library. Your responsibilities will include:

- Complete acquisition and renewal workflows in the required systems including creating and maintaining invoice, licence and vendor records in Alma, and invoice and licence records in CiAnywhere.
- Establish and maintain access to electronic resources, including troubleshooting access issues and liaising effectively with vendors and IT staff.
- Process repository records to ensure they are accurate, complete, and follow relevant metadata standards and comply with copyright, embargoes, and Open Access policies.
- Assist with the technical migration of the repository system and creation of related support and learning materials.
- Contribute to the University’s strategic research priorities through services including institutional repository support, research data management, publishing advice, bibliometrics, and research skills development.
- A professional qualification in librarianship recognised for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association, supported by relevant work experience.
- Strong attention to detail, with well-developed analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret, assess, and apply technical and procedural documentation, with experience contributing to the development and improvement of process and support materials.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within and across teams, engaging with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to achieve shared objectives.
- Capacity to quickly learn new systems, adapt to changing workflows, and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and groups.
- Strong time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
- Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction
