Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO) Trainee Position Summary

• The Limited X-Ray Machine Operator Trainee is currently enrolled in the Limited X-Ray Machine Operator program and will concurrently attend school while training with TidalHealth Your Doc’s In. The LXMO Trainee will learn to perform limited-scope X-ray exams (e.g., chest, extremities, spine), as permitted by the State of Maryland, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. They will assist team members with patient flow and clinical care and receive training on maintaining/calibrating X-ray equipment according to safety and cleanliness standards. The Trainee will support front desk and clinical tasks as needed.

Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO)Trainee Position Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Enrollment in a state-approved Limited X-Ray Machine Operator program is required.

Experience Requirements:

• Familiarity with EMR systems and digital radiography platforms preferred.
• Experience working in an urgent care, emergency room, or outpatient clinical setting preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

• Must obtain certification within 6 months.

Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO) Trainee Work Schedule

• Clinic Hours are typically Monday – Friday 8:00am-8:00pm; Saturday & Sunday 8:00am-6:00pm.
