Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen. Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and standards - Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during service hours - Maintain inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor - Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food quality, portion control, and presentation - Assist with cleaning duties, including washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and organizing storage areas Skills: - Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred - Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling procedures - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members - Familiarity with basic cooking equipment and utensils - Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices Join our team as a Line Cook and be part of an exciting culinary experience. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Cooking: 3 years (required)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
