Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restaurant and food service industry, with a focus on food handling and meal preparation. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
Skills
- Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment, preferably as a Line Cook or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed guest expectations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
