Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Construction Defect/RCLA law and/or Personal Injury. This role requires excellent legal research skills and the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. The Litigation Attorney will represent clients in court, manage case files, and provide legal advice while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Duties
- Represent clients in litigation cases, including trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Conduct thorough legal research
- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation in a law office setting.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies.
- Stay updated on changes in laws relevant to Construction Defect/RCLA law and/or Personal Injury.
Skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools.
- Strong understanding of Construction Defect/RCLA law and/or Personal Injury.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing case files.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Experience in a law office environment is preferred but not required.
- A commitment to ethical practice and professional development within the legal field.
Starting Salary is $130,000 to $150,000, but could increase depending on experience.
