Job Description:
Based in Singapore, the jobholder is the Local Airbus Helicopters (AH) representative for Industrial Participation and Offsets (IP&O) in the Asia Pacific region (APAC). The jobholder is located within the Airbus Helicopters Singapore organisation, reporting to the AH Head of IP&O Region, and functionally to the AH Head of Sales APAC, and will coordinate with the APAC Airbus IP&O manager based in Singapore.
The jobholder will, in close coordination with the relevant AH Head of IP&O Region and the APAC Airbus IP&O manager, acting as AH IP&O local representative with local IP&O authorities :
- Manage, in coordination with AH Head of IP&O Region and APAC Sales, the pre-contractual IP&O activities in the APAC region, as well as the fulfilment of IP&O obligations.
- Develop relationships with APAC key stakeholders, ensure acceptance of AH IP&O proposed projects, and increase IP&O projects success;
- Support coherence with cross-divisional, cross-functional and cross-regional Airbus-wide priorities and regional strategies;
In particular, the jobholder is accountable for:
- Supporting the execution of existing and future IP&O programmes and commitments;
- Contributing to the preparation of IP&O Offers with a view to improve the eligibility and IP&O credit award streams, as well as facilitating discussions related to the preparation and negotiation of new IP&O programmes;
- Ensuring regular liaison with AH Head of IP&O Region to ensure appropriate alignment / coherence / arbitrage with global IP&O priorities and functional / Divisional strategies
- Developing and maintaining an IP&O projects pipeline nurtured by AH topics, in line with Airbus’ global and regional strategies;
- Supporting regular contacts and coordination with the Airbus Divisions’ IP&O organisations;
- Maintaining relationships with all key Airbus functions in APAC (Sales, Procurement, Services, Engineering, etc.), leading dedicated initiatives to ensure that IP& O considerations are taken into account and to support the identification of IP&O project opportunities;
- Acting as AH IP&O local representative for local stakeholders with a relevance for IP&O (government institutions, academia, local industry, etc.);
- Representing AH at relevant IP&O related industry associations and bodies;
- Developing support opinion or position papers on key topics of relevance to IP&O (AH regional and global strategy evolutions, regulation changes, etc.);
- Ensuring that IP&O operations are in strict adherence to Ethics and Compliance Airbus policies and processes;
- Contributing through IP&O operations to local priorities and initiatives as defined by the AH Head of IP&O Region.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business or Aviation related field
- 10 years of working experiences in a similar or related field, with demonstrated experiences in stakeholder management
- Strong interpersonal & execution skills, with a strong drive to value add
- Commercially-minded, highly analytical and structured, while possessing a global outlook and innovative problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to work in remote / matrix teams, and to navigate and succeed in matrix organizations.
- Agility, determination and ability to manage and thrive in ambiguity, courage to exercise duty to innovate and make improvements.
- Excellent presentation and communications skills and relationships with key external stakeholders
