Archway Products Ltd. design, manufacture and service Roadmaster® Spray Injection Patching machines at our facility in Jamestown, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim. We are currently recruiting a Logistics Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Manufacturing Production Manager, you will take ownership of purchasing for our fabrication, assembly and HGV service workshop operations, as well as the fulfilment of spare parts and component orders for Roadmaster® Spray Injection Patcher customers. The ability to work well under pressure, exceptional attention to detail and a constant focus on achieving best value for the business are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate and purchase all parts, components and materials required by the fabrication, assembly and build line areas
- Procure components and consumables for the HGV service workshop, maintaining appropriate stock levels at all times
- Raise and manage purchase orders in Sage, ensuring accuracy at all times
- Manage supplier relationships, challenge pricing and identify opportunities to achieve best value for the company
- Maintain accurate stock records and oversee monthly, quarterly and annual stock takes
- Process spare parts and component sales orders from Roadmaster® Spray Injection Patcher customers, ensuring prompt and accurate fulfilment
- Provide quotations to customers for spare parts and components
- Issue sales invoices and manage the dispatch of parts to internal and external customers
- Maintain job card records within the Fleetminder system
- Develop and provide management reports on purchasing spend, stock levels and order fulfilment performance
- Other ad-hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a purchasing, logistics, supply chain or materials management role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Demonstrable experience in procurement, including supplier sourcing, PO management and cost negotiation
- Strong working knowledge of inventory and stock management systems
- Experience using Sage or similar ERP/accounts software would be a strong advantage
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in the processing of orders, invoices and stock records
- Strong commercial awareness with a consistent focus on achieving best value
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence dealing directly with suppliers and customers
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard office software
- A relevant third-level qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline would be desirable
- Candidates must have the right to live and work in Ireland
