<Responsibilities>

  • Oversee end-to-end transportation management, including planning, dispatching, and tracking shipments through transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms like SAP or Oracle.
  • Coordinate warehouse distribution activities such as inventory control, materials handling, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment to maximize efficiency.
  • Analyze supply chain data using tools like Tableau and SQL to identify bottlenecks, root causes of delays, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Manage procurement processes including sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing purchasing activities to ensure optimal pricing and supplier management.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), freight carriers like NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and warehouse teams to streamline freight forwarding and distribution.
  • Conduct demand planning, inventory management, and stock level analysis to support production planning and minimize excess or shortages.
  • Implement continuous process improvements in warehouse management systems (WMS), supply chain analytics, and materials management practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

<Experience>

  • Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles with a strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation planning, and inventory control.
  • Hands-on knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or AS400; familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong data analysis skills utilizing SQL, Tableau, or similar tools to collect insights from complex datasets.
  • Experience with procurement activities including sourcing vendors, contract negotiations, and category management.
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience operating equipment like forklifts is a plus; certification preferred.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on supply chain issues and implement effective solutions for process improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills for vendor management, contract negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration within supply chain functions.
