Job summary
A growing, heavy fabrication shop in Saginaw is looking to add a skilled Maintenance Worker to its team. The position is full-time, with over-time potential as the workload demands. The position is full-time, with over-time potential as the workload demands. Second shift positions will come with a shift premium. Pay is competitive and based on experience and capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- No degree necessary
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Mechanical knowledge
- Basic knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems
Responsibilities:
- Plant maintenance including equipment and machines
- General maintenance and repair on plate rolls, press brakes, forklifts, CNC boring mills, etc.
- Facility maintenance including weatherproofing, HVAC, groundwork, storm water pollution and prevention plan compliance
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems
- Inspect functionality of safety systems
- Maintain and follow preventative log
- Maintain maintenance records
- Maintain 6S and housekeeping standards
PPE supplied by the company including steel-toed boots, gloves, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
