Atlantic Hardchrome is a Nova Scotia based full service company. We provide equipment repair, manufacturing, machining, CNC machining, grinding & plating services in the Industrial, Aerospace, Mobile/Heavy Equipment, Construction, Forestry, Oil & Gas, and Energy sectors.

Atlantic Hardchrome is growing and working with long career retiring employees through succession planning. We are currently accepting applications for:

Machined Part Inspector

Reporting to the Quality/Engineering Supervisor as Machined Part Inspector you will be responsible for:

· Random in-process inspection of machined and repaired parts;

· Inspection of disassembled strip & survey parts;

· Final inspection of machined and repaired parts;

· Final testing of assemblies;

· Operate coordinate measuring machine (CMM);

· Participate in internal Quality System audits to ISO9001 & AS9100;

· Manage & maintain calibrated devices and logs;

· Assist with root cause analysis on NCR’s;

· Provide weekly updates to the Quality/Engineering Supervisor;

Potential applicants should have the following skills and experience (not required but considered an asset):

· +2 years QA experience using measuring devices to tolerances of .0001”;

· +2 years experience in-house calibration of measuring devices to tolerances of .00005”;

· +2 years experience with ISO 9001 & AS9100 quality systems;

· Experience using coordinate measuring machine (CMM);

· Highly organized and able to maintain deadlines in a fast-paced environment;

· Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, including written and verbal;

· Great attention to detail and highly focused on quality results.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
