We are Horticulture company Oropi Management Services limited in Bay Of Plenty looking for multiple Machinery operators to join our company. The roles are on permanent and Ongoing basis. The roles will be based in Bay of Plenty Region. Pay rate will be between 28 to 32 per hour. The work will be rostered between Monday to Sunday guaranteed for 30 hours per week. Page 1
Machinery Operator Duties and tasks ·
Ensuring the maintenance of the equipment and machinery ·
Operating Mowers, mulchers and tractors · Safe work practices when driving ·
Performing Inspections of farm equipment ·
Transportation of bins and plants in orchard ·
Ensuring the harvest/orchard machinery is in working order ·
Application of Agrichemicals ·
Keeping logs and time records ·
Use machinery for Transportation of materials and horticulture equipment
· Transport Orchard machinery by company Truck to various orchards within Bay of Plenty Area
Job requirements Previous Relevant Work experience in Machinery Operation for 4-6 months
Clean Class 5 Truck Driver License for Machinery transportation
Ability to work longer hours and weekend availability. A
ble to pass drug test Growsafe Certificate Own Transportation or ability to travel to work on various orchards throughout the area Applications close on 16/03/2025.
