The Happy Pear on Church Rd, Greystones is seeking a reliable part-time handyman to help keep our café running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of the café premises, equipment, and facilities.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on furniture, fixtures, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
- Assemble, install, and move furniture or equipment as needed.
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of maintenance tools and storage areas.
- Respond promptly to repair requests from café staff.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with setting up or rearranging café spaces for events, renovations, or seasonal changes.
- Proactive approach in emergency situations.
- Previous experience within the food industry.
- Own tools.
- Own van.
- Ability to problem solve within many construction disciplines, incl. building, plumbing, painting, basic electrical
- Full-clean driving licence.
Experience in a similar position - preferably a minimum of 3 years.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €19.18-€19.80 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
