Overview
We are seeking a versatile Maintenance Handyman on an AS NEEDED BASIS to support the upkeep and operational efficiency of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment by ensuring that all equipment, systems, and infrastructure are functioning optimally. The Maintenance Handyman will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards, enhancing facility performance, and providing excellent service across residential or commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Operate diagnostic instruments to identify issues accurately.
- Assist with facilities maintenance including painting, carpentry, and general handyman tasks to uphold property standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while performing all duties.
Skills
- Extensive mechanical knowledge combined with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical testing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English across diverse teams.
