Part Time

The Happy Pear on Church Rd, Greystones is seeking a reliable part-time handyman to help keep our café running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections of the café premises, equipment, and facilities.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance on furniture, fixtures, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
Assemble, install, and move furniture or equipment as needed.
Maintain the safety and cleanliness of maintenance tools and storage areas.
Respond promptly to repair requests from café staff.
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Assist with setting up or rearranging café spaces for events, renovations, or seasonal changes.
Proactive approach in emergency situations.
Previous experience within the food industry.
Own tools.
Own van.
Ability to problem solve within many construction disciplines, incl. building, plumbing, painting, basic electrical
Full-clean driving licence.

Experience in a similar position - preferably a minimum of 3 years.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €19.18-€19.80 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
