Maintenance Person Required – Ennis Road Care Facility
We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at a well-established nursing home.
This is a hands-on role suited to a practical, dependable individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys keeping facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained for our residents and staff. have the ability to work on own with a team and the ability to organise tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Basic plumbing and carpentry work
- Painting and decorating as required
- Outdoor maintenance including grounds upkeep
- Routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests
Requirements:
- Good all-round maintenance experience
- Sound knowledge of plumbing and carpentry
- Ability to paint and carry out general repairs
- Comfortable with outdoor and seasonal work
- A proactive, “jack of all trades” attitude
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
- Understanding of health and safety practices
Experience in a healthcare or care home setting is desirable but not essential.
