Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and other diagnostic tools
• Perform welding repairs and residential painting tasks as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and safety standards
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions
• Operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks
• Lead or assist with supervising maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to minimize downtime while maintaining high safety standards in facilities maintenance activities
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and internal clients regarding maintenance schedules or issues

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical knowledge base
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems, schematics interpretation, PLC programming, welding techniques, and use of Ohmmeters
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; familiarity with CMMS software is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly using diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus for aesthetic upkeep tasks
• Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance projects is desirable but not mandatory
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces as needed
