As a Electro Mechanical Technician, you are responsible for the completion of planned, preventive, and unplanned maintenance on a highly advanced automated material handling system in a distribution center environment. The ideal EM Technician is focused on maximizing system up-time and performance through safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

• Approach all tasks and situations with a Safety First mindset
• Maximize system performance and up-time through effective execution of all maintenance-related activities
• Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision
• Support Production Team through basic fault correction coaching and troubleshooting
• Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements

Requirements:

• Strong electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC and 24V controls) and mechanical skills
• Perform MIG, TIG, Stick or other types of weld based on project needs
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
• Metal cutting, grinding, and fabrication skills
• Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)
• Familiarity with control technology (PLC /controls/inverters)
• Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring
• Comfort working with wide assortment of computer systems (Microsoft Office Suite, proprietary system monitoring programs, etc.)
• Ability to work in team environment
• Continuous walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing
• Working at heights of up to 80 feet wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE
• Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Working in ambient warehouse conditions

Shifts:

5 shifts - 2 days - early, 2 days - dayshift, 2 days - late, 4 days off.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €3.700,00 - €4.200,00 per month
