Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, utilizing schematics and logic controllers to diagnose problems.
• Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
• Supervise maintenance staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and communicating effectively with team members.
• Use tools such as an ohmmeter to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality.

Overview:

• 3+ years of experience and knowledge in CNC equipment
• Experience with daily preventative maintenance with CNC equipment
• 3+ years of experience working in the Manufacturing industry.
• Extensive knowledge reading blueprint, be able to inspect machines.
• Ability and experience cutting tool steel and aluminum.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $26.21 - $31.56 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
