**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in troubleshooting and repairing equipment. This would be for 2nd shift with no possibility of going to first within the next two years.
**Duties:**
- Conduct routine maintenance procedures on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Perform repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- General Plant Maintenance
**Experience:**
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Leadership abilities to supervise maintenance tasks
- Welding experience for repairs and fabrication
- Strong customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors
- Knowledge of using an Ohmmeter for electrical testing
- Experience with logic controllers for equipment operation
- Ability to maintain a variety of machinery and equipment
- Proficiency in CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities
- Fluency in English for effective communication
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment issues
