Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience equivalent to three years of full-time increasingly skilled labor and trade
• Preferred certification in electrical or plumbing
• Valid Driver’s License

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: These are not exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Performs a variety of carpentry task in the construction and maintenance of buildings.
• Installs and repairs electrical outlets, circuits, switches, fans, and lighting fixtures.
• Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, water and drainage lines, and sewage disposal fields and plants.
• Paints and decorates interiors and exteriors of buildings.
• Makes repairs and adjustments to laundry, heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning units.
• Operates and utilizes a wide variety of tools and equipment such as assorted hand tools, table saws,
• skill saws, hand drills, drill presses, pipe cutters, pipe threaders, welding torches, cutting torches, andvoltage testers; may operate a pick-up truck or other vehicle in getting to and from the job.
• Follows safety protocols and uses personal protective equipment as necessary.
• Performs grounds duties and/or custodial duties as required by supervisor.
• May keep simple records and make routine reports such as time expended, and materials used.
• May provide training to other staff as necessary.

Summary

As a Maintenance Worker, you will be essential in ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your core skills in mechanical knowledge and maintenance will be vital for performing repairs and routine inspections. Your premium skills in electrical experience and welding will enhance your ability to tackle complex maintenance tasks. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and leadership will support effective communication and teamwork. Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.87 - $19.11 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
