SuperValu Naas is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about retail, customer service, and team leadership, and who wants to build a long-term career in supermarket management.

About the Role

As a Trainee Manager, you will work closely with senior management to learn all aspects of running a busy supermarket. You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, customer service, team supervision, stock control, and sales performance.

This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the store and ensure high standards are maintained at all times.
• Deliver excellent customer service and help create a positive shopping experience.
• Assist with supervising, motivating, and developing team members.
• Help manage stock levels, merchandising, and product availability.
• Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-presented.
• Support management with sales targets, promotions, and operational goals.
• Learn and apply company procedures, policies, and retail best practices.
• Assist in dealing with customer queries and resolving issues professionally.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a supervisory role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work in a busy environment.
• Leadership potential and a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends.

Pay: €35,000.00-€35,500.00 per year
