POSITION: Manager

HOURS: Minimum 40 Hours per week; weekend work required

RESPONSIBLE TO: Owners, General Manager and Customers

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager’s role is to operate the car wash site in the most efficient, safe and profitable manner as

detailed in the following categories.

Operations/Maintenance

 Perform daily open/close procedures on-time and ensure accurate daily close-out

 Perform daily/weekly/monthly/as-needed maintenance on all equipment

o Proactively identify potential problems (leaks, motor failures, damage, etc)

 Ensure an adequate supply of parts, inventory and supplies are on-site at all times

 Maintain the grounds and buildings in a clean, safe manner

o Ensure that trash is collected and is not overflowing in trash cans

o Ensure self-serve bays are clean at all times

Employees

 Recruit employees and ensure proper hiring documentation (background checks, on-boarding

paperwork, etc)

o Ensure employees receive a copy of the employment manual and are updated on

changes to the manual and company policies

 Train employees for their position and oversee their work at all times

 Ensure that employees are on-time, properly dressed and their appearance is neat

 Create, and update as needed, the site employee schedule

o Coordinate with other sites to staff all locations adequately

 Review employee’s performance no less frequently than on their hiring anniversary

 Discipline employees as needed and ensure proper documentation

 Meet with all site employees no less frequently than quarterly

Customer Service

 Respond promptly to customer inquires in-person, by phone and email

 Ensure customer’s information is complete and accurate in all databases

 Respond to social media inquiries and comments

 Resolve damage claims to the mutual benefit of the company and customers and maintain

proper documentation

Profitability

 Minimize downtime

 Ensure your site operates safely and profitably

 Suggest profit enhancements and cost savings

 Maintain accurate and orderly financial and operational records (e.g. meter readings)

Miscellaneous

 Participate in weekly calls and company-wide meetings

 Work cooperatively with your colleagues at other sites and the office

 Coordinate in a professional manner with colleagues and vendors

 Ask your colleagues when you are unsure how to do something

 Communicate with all site managers consistently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 - $25.00 per hour
