- Guide and develop a team of localization professionals, fostering their career growth.
- Lead all aspects of localization workflows, ensuring high-quality translated content across languages and formats.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to achieve successful localization.
- Promote industry standard processes across Workday, providing guidance and support.
- Identify and address technical and process challenges to improve localization efficiency and scalability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
- 5+ years of proven experience in content and software localization.
- 2+ years of guiding and developing teams of 5+ localization professionals.
- Proficiency in Machine Translation and Translation Management Systems (TMS) such as Phrase, XTM or memoQ.
- Experience working within agile software development lifecycles.
- Proven track record to manage vendor relationships, including multi language service providers and technology vendors.
- Success managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Successfully led localization teams to achieve on-time project delivery, budget adherence, and return on investment.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and manage risks for complex localization projects.
- Proven ability to analyze localization challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with geographically distributed teams.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability
- Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
