Biotech is a sterile filling facility producing, a lifesaving cancer treatment.

• This role is a fantastic opportunity to lead a key team in Biotech whilst building sterile and biologic experience. This role leads a team of 5 employees who provide essential day support to the Biotech IPT.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• This team you will be leading is accountable for the following process streams:

• Batch Record Review: As volumes scale up, team needs to ensure we continue to release batches on time. Successful partnership with technicians to reduce exceptions and corrections per batch is critical.

• Batch Record Design: Co-leading continuous evolution of our digital strategy to realise our aspiration for reducing touch time/batch. Includes ownership of MES MBR, elogs & PE steward.

• Management of consumables and manufacturing aids. Includes introduction of new materials and inventory/budget management.

• Authoring, investigating & trending of Operations related QNs, procedures, change controls, audit actions and customer complaints.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• This role will be positioned as a M1 manager. As such, the successful candidate will need to be able to guide their direct reports on their job scope. We will be looking for examples of where in your career you have executed work of similar complexity or scope. Sterile Experience will be an advantage.

• Managing Change: As a team leader, you expected to create a high performing team that effectively executes against Hoshin. We are looking for a leader who can keep their team resilient and motivated as our ways of working evolve.

• Existing MPS skills are an advantage. Priority competency areas are problem solving (8 step and On-Point), Tier, Daily Management and Leader Standard Work.

• Self Starter: Successful candidates need to be comfortable working autonomously. Whilst the Biotech Leadership Team will provide direction on intent, expectation is you should be able to develop a plan to achieve that goal and shift the plan based on actual circumstances.
