Role Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the configuration and assembly of Camlin products in our Atlanta facility and also serve as the North American Safety Lead for Camlin, ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.
Role Responsibilities
- Oversee the configuration, testing, and validation of transformer monitoring systems in the Atlanta facility in alignment to our global standards.
- Develop and optimize assembly processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Collaborate with UK-based engineering and production teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and best practices.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing and integration challenges.
- Support supply chain and logistics teams in ensuring timely availability of materials.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a safety compliance program for the Camlin North America
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
- Conduct safety training, audits, and risk assessments for manufacturing and field service operations.
- Promote a culture of workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Previous experience leading or managing a safety program.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for workplace safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across teams.
- Experience in electrical equipment assembly or industrial systems (preferred).
