Job Overview
Manufacturing company in Oakland, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, ensuring that production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate various manufacturing equipment and machinery efficiently.
- Ability to weigh, dispense materials, and work with mixing equipment.
- Ability to use a scale.
- Package finished products for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to optimize production processes.
- Work involves set-up, operation, and clean-up of production equipment to maintain proper production and cleanliness.
Skills
- Physically able to fill, lift, move, and palletize up to 50lb. boxes.
- Work involves standing on concrete floors for full shift period and walk within the facility.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on achieving production goals.
4-day work week, Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Some Friday overtime possible.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
