Bring Failte Solar to Life Across Europe
We're looking for an energetic, creative Event Manager to lead the planning and delivery of standout events across Ireland, the UK, and Italy. From major trade shows and product launches to installer training days and roadshows, you'll shape the experiences that power our brand and connect us with customers and partners. Key Responsibilities
Event Vision & Strategy
- Build and own a dynamic annual event calendar across our key markets.
- Shape events from the ground up; concept, budget, logistics, promotion and execution.
- Spot highvalue opportunities that elevate our brand and support commercial growth.
- Source standout venues, negotiate with vendors, and manage contracts with confidence.
Bringing Events to Life
- Oversee every detail: venue setup, equipment, branding, staffing, catering, AV and more.
- Lead booth design, product displays, and branded experiences that stand out
- Ensure every event reflects the Failte Solar standard; professional and memorable.
- Travel within our key markets to deliver events with excellence.
Marketing & Audience Engagement
- Build campaigns that drive attendance and buzz.
- Work closely with sales teams to ensure events generate leads and real commercial impact.
- Manage registration, communications, and postevent engagement workflows.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Leadership
- Work handinhand with Sales, Marketing, Technical and Operations teams.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, partners, associations and event organisers.
- Serve as the goto leader on the ground during every event.
Performance, Insights & Growth
- Track KPIs including attendance, leads, engagement and ROI.
- Deliver postevent reports with insights that shape future strategy.
- Maintain accurate budgets and ensure costeffective event delivery.
What you will bring:
- 3-5+ years of event management experience (renewables, tech, or B2B is a bonus).
- A natural multitasker with strong project management skills.
- Confident communicator and skilled negotiator.
- Experience running events across multiple countries (preferred).
- Comfortable with event management tools and digital marketing platforms.
- Ready and willing to travel frequently across our regions.
- Creative, detaildriven, and calm under pressure.
- Selfstarter who thrives in a fastmoving environment.
- Must drive and have access to a car.
- Live within an accessible distance to the office in Shannon.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in renewable energy or technical B2B sectors.
- Background in trade shows, product demos, or technical training events.
- Italian language skills (a plus, not a requirement).
