Job Title: Marketing Operations Specialist
Location: Hybrid (North York)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 annually
Note: This role is focused on marketing execution and campaign operations, not software development or engineering. Candidates with strong marketing systems and landing page experience are preferred over coding or development backgrounds.
Bluestar Professional Services is seeking an experienced Marketing Operations Specialist to support the technical side of marketing execution. This includes launching, testing, and optimization of marketing campaigns, landing pages, forms, email automations, and related digital marketing systems.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and maintaining marketing assets, troubleshooting issues, improving processes, and ensuring campaigns are launched accurately and effectively.
The successful candidate will work closely with our content marketing team to support campaign execution, website updates, tracking implementation, lead generation workflows, and quality assurance across multiple marketing platforms.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership of their work, pays close attention to detail, and can confidently manage campaign execution, testing, and troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, update, and maintain landing pages, campaign pages, and website content.
- Support campaign launches, including forms, booking flows, CTAs, tracking, and conversion paths.
- Test marketing assets, forms, tracking, booking links, and user journeys before and after launch to ensure quality and functionality.
- Maintain and troubleshoot marketing systems, including analytics, tracking, email automation, booking platforms, and related marketing tools (including Google Ads, GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, MailerLite, and similar platforms).
- Support website updates and content management in WordPress and related platforms.
- Document processes, campaign launch procedures, QA checklists, troubleshooting steps, and system changes.
- Assist with testing and supporting integrations and related marketing and operational workflows.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, vendors, and technical resources to resolve system and workflow issues.
- Read and interpret technical documentation to support implementation, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Support the management of scheduling, booking, and operational software platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, campaign execution, and user experience.
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned, consistent with the nature, scope, and level of the position.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting digital marketing campaigns, landing pages, website updates, or lead generation initiatives.
- Comfortable working with websites, landing pages, forms, booking systems, email platforms, analytics tools, and marketing technology platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, testing habits, and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated quality assurance mindset, including testing pages, forms, links, tracking, and user experiences before launch.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and project requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and maintain a high level of accuracy without requiring detailed oversight.
- Strong judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to identify issues, test thoroughly, and resolve problems before launch.
- Ability to learn new systems, software, and processes quickly.
Familiarity With
- Landing pages, campaign setup, forms, CTAs, and conversion tracking concepts.
- Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, UTM tracking, and conversion paths.
- Email marketing platforms, automations, subscriber management, segmentation, and list maintenance.
- Booking, scheduling, or intake platforms.
- Website platforms and CMS tools, including WordPress or similar platforms.
- Basic HTML/CSS, JavaScript concepts, browser console tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
- SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and on-page optimization concepts.
- AI-assisted troubleshooting, documentation, workflow, or implementation tools.
Bonus / Exposure (Not Required)
- Exposure to APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, integrations, or technical documentation.
- Familiarity with hosting, domains, redirects, DNS, deployment concepts, or website infrastructure.
- Experience with GitHub or similar technical workflow tools.
Note: Direct experience with every platform listed is not required. We are looking for candidates with strong technical curiosity, careful troubleshooting habits, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
The successful candidate will:
- Take ownership of landing pages, campaign assets, forms, booking flows, and related marketing systems.
- Thoroughly test pages, links, forms, tracking, and user journeys before launch.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively, escalating when appropriate but not relying on constant review or approval.
- Understand how marketing systems connect and troubleshoot issues independently.
- Learn new tools and platforms quickly as business needs evolve.
- Work effectively from project briefs while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.
