At Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, we deliver cutting-edge products and solutions to customers worldwide in the mining and infrastructure sectors. A key part of this innovative business is our Surface Drilling Division, where our intelligent drill rigs bring advanced technology to surface mining and infrastructure applications.

We are looking for an innovative and proactive Marketing Professional to join our team to cover a parental leave role. This is a temporary position with an estimated duration of approximately 15 months. The role is based in Tampere (Myllypuro), Finland, and reports directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing for Surface Drilling Division.

Your role

As part of the division’s marketing team, you’ll work in a truly global environment. The materials you create and manage will be distributed worldwide to support Sandvik’s local marketing experts.

In this role, you will contribute to shaping the division’s marketing plan and lead its execution through product launches, campaigns, and events. You’ll take ownership of marketing materials for products and solutions, collaborating closely with Sandvik’s global network of professionals and agency partners to develop fresh content and keep existing materials up to date.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, marketing agencies, and local sales organizations to ensure marketing messages clearly communicate the value and capabilities of our products to customers.
Plan, develop, and execute product launches and marketing campaigns in close cooperation with the marketing team to support Sandvik Surface Drilling business.
Contribute to the planning and execution of events and exhibitions
Manage internal and external marketing communications across multiple channels, including the Sandvik website, social media platforms, newsletters, and intranet.

We are looking for

Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably in B-to-B marketing of high-tech or industrial products, with a suitable educational background (B.Sc. or M.Sc. in the field)
Excellent/fluent communication skills in English, both written and oral. Finnish is an advantage.
Knowledge of different content management systems & digital marketing channels and tools
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus
